Weird. I bought issue one of glamourpuss in a comic shop the other day, and upon completion  I thought to myself "I should look this fellow up on Deviantart." I don't know why the thought occurred. I've never looked for a comic artist on this site before but... low and behold you have an account! Fabulous Dhaling.
Well, now you have an Ontario fangirl for life. Way to be an awesome Canadian Artist. I hope you keep being ever-so witty.

Hi, Dave! I've been a big fan of your work for over 20 years now. Cerebus still ranks in my "Top 3 Greatest Comics of All Time" list. I still revisit it from time to time and it's always fresh. You sense of storytelling and pacing is phenomenal. I also like your Ellisonian knack of writing essays that are just as engaging (if not moreso sometimes) as the actual work.

Anyway, I did have an actual question. Years ago there was issue of Following Cerebus that was on the theme of copyright. There were a number of great essays in there. I can't find my copy anywhere and I was wondering if they were posted online somewhere? I know the Cerebus Fangirl site has a number of essays, but those particular ones don't seem to be up. If not, I'll just look on ebay or something, I guess.

Thanks for everything!

I tried to do a Dave Sim style drawing years back, when Jaka and her hubby were living together. My pencil and paper said, "WHAT? Are you kidding US?"

Love your stuff; writing and art...and Gerhard's stuff too.

I dropped a :llama: on your head. Once you comb all the fur out your hair, give him a bowl of milk and a shot of Southern Comfort!

Dave, I sent you mail a million years ago when I was very sick and terrified. I still have sketches you sent me on my wall to bolster my mood and recovery almost 15 years later. Finally got up the guts to start a comic.

Awww ... I'm sad that Glamour/Zootanapuss is ending. I only stared back at issue #22, but it became one of the comics I most look forward to. I hope you can land on your feet soon and continue making comics!
